The internet responded to the judge’s ruling and opinions were divided. “It’s easy to define ‘woman.’ A woman has breasts and a vagina. She has periods and she can give birth. Again, to be clear, I am not transgender,” another hit back. “And what about all the women who have had double mastectomies to prevent cancer? Or older women who can’t have kids anymore? Hostile and Horrible Sisters
Some commenters called for the transphobic sisters to be kicked out of the organization. “Personally, I think the sorority sisters who filed the court case should be expelled from the sorority for being hostile and just plain [horrible] sisters,” one person wrote.
Following Legal Precedent
Conservative commenters doubted the judge’s decision matched his personal opinions. “Sounds like the judge was just scared of backlash. Coward,” one person wrote. “No, he was following legal precedent. The court had no right to force a private organization to discriminate against trans people,” another hit back.
