According to reports, Pratt spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Mar-a-Lago memberships, leading to a close relationship between him and the former president. This resulted in regular private conversations between the billionaire duo.
Trump Says Outrageous Things
The recordings reveal that Trump gave Pratt a lot of questionable information. They do not, however, refer to nuclear submarines. Regardless, the Australian billionaire said that Trump has an “ability to say outrageous things non-stop.”
Donald Trump’s Response
In response, Trump took to social media to launch a tirade against Pratt. “The failing story about a red-haired weirdo from Australia named Anthony Pratt is fake news. I never spoke to him about submarines but I did speak to him about creating jobs in Ohio and Pennsylvania,” he said.

The criminal defendant continued: “Because that’s what I’m all about – jobs, a great economy, low taxes, no inflation, energy, dominance, strong borders, no endless wars, low interest rates, and much more!”

Despite the apparent breakdown in their relationship, the billionaire pair previously enjoyed a seemingly strong bond. In 2019, Trump helped open a new Pratt Industries plant. “We’re here to celebrate a great opening and a great gentleman. Anthony is one of the most successful men in the world – perhaps Australia’s most successful man,” he said.
