She claimed this action was unconventional and strange – an odd opinion, given that it’s quite normal and common for older people to engage in light-hearted antics such as pretending to eat a baby’s fingers or toes.
Old Age and Strange Behavior
Kelly claimed that parents wouldn’t usually engage in such behavior with unfamiliar children as a way of displaying affection or greeting them. Her criticism went further by suggesting that Biden’s age might be a contributing factor to his behavior. Nevertheless, she maintained that his age didn’t justify the act.

In an unexpected turn, Kelly delved into a discussion about alleged drug-related discoveries within the White House, insinuating that these substances could potentially be influencing Biden’s actions. She concluded by stating her belief that the President is experiencing a decline in his mental state and used his behavior as evidence of cognitive impairment.

This isn’t the first time Kelly has criticized Biden, having previously expressed similar sentiments toward both Biden and Trump due to their advanced ages. Kelly actually went as far as to suggest that their age could potentially lead to health concerns, even speculating about whether or not they would survive until the end of the election. She said: “I mean, this is something we actually have to factor in when you have presidential candidates who are around 80 years old.”

You should never kiss, hug, smell hair, or nibble on anyone else’s child,” one person wrote. “This is nothing new. He’s always been weird with kids – but all politicians are,” another added.

Some commenters felt the situation was being blown out of proportion. “This is entirely normal behavior for someone of his age. Has the child’s mother complained? No? Then the right’s making an issue out of nothing,” one person said. “Talk about the media blowing things out of proportion,” another wrote.

It takes things out of context and tries to stir outrage, usually against the left because it’s owned by far-right capitalists. Not that Biden is remotely left-wing anyway. Americans are so far-right they think center-right Biden is far-left. The rest of the world is laughing at you.”

Others acknowledged that Biden’s behavior was normal for a grandparent – but they still criticized him. “He may be a grandfather with grandchildren and he can do whatever he wants with his grandchildren – but not toward a stranger’s child. It is not right,” one person wrote. “While I think this is probably being blown out of proportion a bit, I do agree in principle,” another replied.
