“Congrats, Democrats. You’re Haemorrhaging Your Most Ardent Supporters”: Billionaire Democrat’s Stunning U-Turn Praises Trump’s “Incredible” Triumphs

The work of the Trump administration has been hailed by billionaire venture entrepreneur Chamath Palihapitiya, a Democrat in the past two presidential elections.

“As a Democrat, who has been left homeless, who is now definitely in the center, but probably leaning increasingly right, I’m left yet again with an appreciation, despite the messenger of the message, of the Trump administration, because what those guys did was pretty incredible,” Palihapitiya said in a recent episode of his The All-In.

“So much of the work that happened in that administration turned out to have been right, and that is what is so frustrating for me,” Palihapitiya said. Palihapitiya’s comments come as Trump is still being investigated for his business transactions in New York and his suspected involvement in the Washington, D.C., riots on January 6, as well as other legal matters.

According to a Morning Consult tracking survey, Trump is presently ahead of all other Republican contenders for the 2024 race with 59 percent of the vote. Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, and Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, both came in second place to Trump with 14 and 7 percent, respectively.

‘We Didn’t Like the Messenger, so We Killed the Message’

This week on his podcast, Palihapitiya discussed a number of initiatives done by the Trump administration, including the wall with Mexico and a peace accord in the Middle East, while complimenting a lot of his work. “The work on the border wall, we didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message. Turned out it was right,” Palihapitiya remarked. “Issuing long-term debt to refinance when rates were at zero. We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message…A structural peace deal in the Middle East. We didn’t like the messenger, so we killed the message.”

“When are we going to stop shooting ourselves in the foot? When are we going to actually take the time to look past who was saying things and actually listen to them word for word?” Palihapitiya further commented. The present border wall between the United States and Mexico will continue to be built, according to U.S. President Joe Biden, who said that funding for the wall’s construction had already been allocated before he entered office.

NY Democrat Rep Ocasio-Cortez Criticizes Biden’s Announcement Urging Him to “Reverse the Course”

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York, slammed Biden’s remarks and urged him to “reverse the course.” “This is a necessary step to help Texas’ overburdened border communities deal with this current surge of migrants,” Texas Democratic Representative Colin Allred told The Hill. Comprehensive immigration reform, including sufficient money for personnel and equipment for border protection, is what our state genuinely needs.

Palihapitiya Notes That Trump’s Achievements Are Especially Impressive When Measured up Against Biden

He pointed out that when compared to former Democrat President Joe Biden, Trump’s accomplishments are particularly stunning. “I voted for Hillary Clinton,” Palihapitiya declared. “I voted for Joe Biden. But this is the honest assessment. [Trump] did, for the things that he was supposed to do, a good job. And for where every other president found a way to make our situation a little bit worse, specifically around wars, he did not do that.”

Palihapitiya Brands the Abraham Accords and Middle East Peace Initiatives as “Just a Real Example for the World”

The Abraham Accords and other Middle East peace attempts were hailed by Palihapitiya as “just a real example for the world.” Jason Calacanis, a political pundit, highlighted, “It’s a miracle, actually, when you look at it, what they did, you know.” “But if you want to objectively look at what they did, it was good work. It was great work,” he said. According to Palihapitiya, “It’s now causing us to not see that good work and then embrace and extend it.” “It’s now causing us to not see that good work and then embrace and extend it,” he claimed.

Is One’s ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Causing More Damage Than Anything President Trump Could Have Done?

The discussion took place on the “All-In” Podcast, which is amusing, engaging, entertaining, and stimulating. Aside from being four “besties,” Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and David Friedberg are also tech investors, former Google, AOL, Paypal, and Facebook executives, venture capitalists, angel investors, engineers, writers, a former gubernatorial candidate, and even the “Queen of Quinoa.” “This is a moment when you have to start to re-underwrite, is one’s ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ causing more damage than anything President Trump could have done? And I think the answer is yes,” Palihapitiya stated.

‘I Was Fed All These Lies for Years’: Palihapitiya Calls Jared Kushner Thoughtful & Smart

It was noteworthy how highly the All-In-Podcasters regarded Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and the President’s top advisor who helped arrange the Abraham Accords for peace between Israel and Palestine. “But Jared Kushner is thoughtful,” says Chamath Palihapitiya. “He’s smart. I was fed all these lies for years about how this guy was, like, moping around in the shadows and this and that, and it was all not true. David Sacks: “[Trump] was willing to meet with Kim Jong Un. He was willing to meet with Putin and Xi Jinping, and he avoided criticizing them personally. He didn’t call them dictators. He talked about how smart they are. It’s the art of the deal. Right. I mean, at the end of the day, he’s looking to do business, and we need a little bit more of that. And I think this is why Jared Kushner was successful. He went in there with the mindset of a businessman. How do we find something that’s beneficial to both sides?”

Interestingly, the podcast sparked a series of arguments in agreement with Chamath’s comments.”It’s annoying because when it comes to 2024, Trump will likely be the nominee. He’s still not my top choice in the primary but you bet I’m gonna vote for him in the general anyway because he’ll be a lot better than Biden. At this point, not voting Trump in the general just guarantees 4 more years of Biden (or another leftist admin—the more likely scenario),” one user on Reddit wrote.

Another user further remarked, “When a “true believer” like this is converted, you know you’ve got problems. Congrats, democrats. You’re hemorrhaging your most ardent supporters. Better get your “fortification” techniques in order.”
