Former New Hampshire Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Horn has said that Donald Trump is “dangerous to the safety of every individual American citizen.”
Horn Fought Democrats
In the days before Trump became POTUS, Horn focused her efforts on fighting Democrats. She even accused Martha Fuller Clark of messing with a “sanctuary of voter fraud” and criticized Biden, when he was VP, on a number of occasions.
The Lincoln Project
But when Trump entered the White House, her focus changed. She co-founded the Lincoln Project, which aimed to defeat the now-criminal defendant and his supporters in Congress. No longer a member of the GOP, Horn left the project in 2021.
Responsible Governance and Individual Liberty
In an op-ed for USA Today, Horn wrote: “Where once we stood together to advocate for responsible governance, individual liberty, equal justice, and opportunity for all, today’s GOP platform is nothing more than a vow to support, protect, defend, and defer to Donald Trump.”
Donald Trump’s Bigotries
She continued: “To be pro-life means to care for life – all life, at all stages, in all conditions. Trump’s assaults on life are egregious and daily. He demeans and degrades minorities, women, the elderly, immigrants, and the disabled. Trump has destroyed the foundations of traditional conservatism and the American institutions upon which our democracy is built.”
Donald Trump Is Dangerous
Now, Horn has been interviewed on MSNBC. “Just how big of a threat, of a danger, is that to this country?” the host asked her, referring to Trump’s classified documents case. “Well, it’s an extraordinary danger,” Horn replied before adding that she believes it’s “really important that we’re very direct and clear that Donald Trump is dangerous.”
Mishandling Classified Information
Horn continued: “He undermines the security of our nation. He’s dangerous to the safety of every individual American citizen. Every person who lives in this country is potentially the target of harm because of how he handles these documents, because of how he mishandles classified information.”
Trump’s Troublesome Behavior
Horn went on to discuss the numerous individuals now releasing books about Trump’s troublesome behavior. She said: “I have no respect for those folks because, my question is, why didn’t they say something in 2017? Why didn’t they say something in 2020?”

The commenter continued: “Trump will use the military for his own army. Trump will be the cause of World War III. Trump will cause a civil war in what used to be the United States of America. Trump will cause the end of days. He has to be stopped.”
Hate and Bigotry
Another person said: “Trump was just the instrument that brought out the hate and bigotry that exists in our country. It took a really evil person and con artist to achieve this. The desire of his base for power and fear is what is behind the cowardice of the GOP.”
The Party of Liars and Traitors
Others had some very strong words for the GOP: “Republicans still supporting Traitor Trump are Americans without honor or morals. They have destroyed what little credibility they had left after the fiasco of Traitor Trump. The party of liars and traitors.”
Blaming Everything on Immigrants
Another commenter wrote: “Trump has destroyed decency and any moral integrity there was. His supporters are just hateful people whose lives were in shambles before him and they blamed everything on immigrants instead of themselves.”
Destroying the GOP
Plenty of people said Trump completely destroyed the GOP. “Isn’t it odd that all the smart Republicans have left the party and it’s only the really stupid or poorly educated con men and grifters left? Trump has succeeded in destroying the Republican Party and you have to give him credit for that,” one person said.
Ending American Democracy
The commenter continued: “So the question is – are even the stupid Republicans ready to end the American democratic experiment after 248 years? Do we extinguish the light of America that is the main hope of the world?”
The MAGA Republicans
Others said Trump’s followers are just as dangerous as he is and some even said they could be a bigger threat. One such individual wrote: “His MAGA cult members are just as, if not more, dangerous to every citizen in the U.S.”
A MAGA Opinion
Despite all of the aforementioned criticism of Trump, the former president’s fans did show up from time to time to weigh in. One said: “Trump is not a danger to Americans. That’s Biden and the Democrats! Trump is the savior of the United States and its citizens.”
